The functions of the Anglican Media Council are to use and to promote the use of the media as a means of presenting the Christian message in accordance with the policies endorsed from time to time by the Standing Committee and especially the gospel of the redeeming work of Jesus Christ.
Constitution and Current Membership
The Anglican Media Council is constituted under the Anglican Media Council Ordinance 1993.
The members of the Anglican Media Council are: the Archbishop, who is the president of the Council; six persons elected by the Standing Committee; three persons appointed by the Archbishop; and the Chief Executive Officer, ex officio.
